HOMEWORK:
Our homework is assigned and goes home on Monday. All homework is due by Friday the same week. Late work will have 10 points per school day deducted.
DAILY FOLDERS:
Please check your child's daily folder every evening. I will put any important communication to go home in there. Your child will also document their daily behavior on the calendar insert.
TARDINESS:
Please make your best effort to have your child in class on time. Our day starts promptly at 7:45am and tardiness disrupts the entire class.
TUTORING:
If your child needs homework help, we have tutoring available before school in the library from 7:15am-7:45am.
CLASSROOM NEWS:
I will send out a monthly classroom newsletter. This newsletter with cover any important dates, what we will be learning, and also the lunch menu. Please ensure that I have your correct email address so you will receive it.
GRADES:
You can always check your students up to date grades at www.txconnect.org. You must create an username and password. This website is great for seeing not only grades, but absences, tardies, shot records, and other important district information.
GRADING:
A: 90-100 EXCELLENT
B: 80-89 ABOVE AVERAGE
C: 70-79 AVERAGE
D: 60-69 BELOW AVERAGE
F: below 60 FAILING
